The Goodwill store feet away from the section of Interstate 85 that collapsed Thursday is closed indefinitely, Goodwill of North Georgia said on Twitter.

The Piedmont store and donation center could be seen from the section of highway behind flames and thick black smoke that came from under the now-collapsed overpass Thursday evening.

Goodwill of North Georgia said that the road closures and the fire led them to temporarily shut the store. The store will re-open, but there is not currently a date set for that to occur.
