A 15-year-old girl was struck and injured by a car as she crossed a road in Marietta Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred on South Marietta Parkway at Powers Ferry Road.
According to Marietta police, a green 1995 Chevrolet Astro van was traveling east on South Marietta Parkway when it struck the girl, who crossing the road.
The girl, whose name was not released, was taken to Atlanta Medical Center where she is listed in good condition. No charges are expected, police said. Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer J. Rutland at 770-794-5364.
