Aug 4, 2011An ex-Georgia Tech associate professor has been indicted in Fulton and Clayton counties on charges he illegally possessed child pornography, the state Attorney General's Office said.
Al-Khayyal earned a Ph.D. in operations research in 1977. An investigation found images of suspected child pornography on Al-Khayyal's university office's computer and his school-issued laptop that was seized from him at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport, the AG's Office said. He faces 172 counts of sexually exploiting children in Fulton and 29 counts in Clayton.
