What does Georgia Southern University have in common with Harvard and Stanford?

They're among the nation's most popular schools, according to a new ranking compiled by U.S. News and World Report.

The list was determined using colleges' fall 2009 yield rates -- the percentage of accepted students who enroll.

Georgia Southern came in at No. 4 with a yield of 68.7 percent. The Statesboro college was the only Georgia school to make the top 20.

Harvard University ranked second at 76.5 percent and Stanford University was third at 69.8 percent.

The top spot went to Brigham Young University, which had a yield of 76.9 percent.
