Georgia Gwinnett College to open brand new library
July 22, 2010
Georgia's newest college is opening its brand new library.
Georgia Gwinnett College, which opened in its doors four years ago, will cut the ribbon on its 91,000-square-foot facility Thursday at 10 a.m.
The library is one of three major construction projects on tap to be completed by the fall. The suburban Atlanta campus' first dorm will open in the fall, as well as the new student center and cafeteria.
Georgia Gwinnett is the state's first public four-year college in more than a century. It opened in 2006 with just 100 students and has more than 3,000 enrolled now.
