A state highway contractor will close one of two collector-distributor lanes of Ga. 400, starting this weekend and continuing through mid-2020, as part of the continuing reconstruction of the Ga. 400/I-285 interchange in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties.

The long-term lane closure begins Sunday, Feb. 10, between the Glenridge Connector and I-285, according to the Georgia Department of Transportation. It will allow North Perimeter Contractors LLC to begin constructing new collector-distributor lanes – demolishing existing structures, installing drainage, and grading and paving.

Prior to this lane closure, other overnight lane closures are planned for northbound Ga. 400 between Glenridge and I-285, GDOT said. Workers will be reducing the width of the general purpose and collector-distributor lanes to 11 feet from 12 feet.
