GBI cop nabs child porn suspect in Arizona

Sharing music online can be illegal. Sharing child porn always is.

An Arizona man suspected of having child pornography on his computer was caught by a GBI agent working 2,000 miles away.

The detective was trolling cyberspace networks when he noticed a user with the handle "AZMAN107," according to the GBI. Because of a file-sharing network, the detective was able to download items from the suspect's computer, the GBI said.

After downloading 29 images of a child porn and a partial movie, the detective was able to get the IP address of the computer, the GBI said. The computer belonged to Mark Siegelman of Scottdale, Ariz.

The GBI detective then contacted Scottdale police, who arrested Siegelman late last month.

Siegelman was charged with 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor.
