Some residents can’t leave their Johns Creek neighborhood due to a broken gas main line, police said.

The hit was on Sargent Road at Crossington Road, the Johns Creek Police Department said on Facebook.

Sargent Road is shut down, and residents of the Wellington subdivision are not able to leave.

Police said at 4 p.m. that the estimate is an hour to hour and a half to have the gas shut down.

The reminded residents to call 911 in case of an emergency.
