Gas leak snarls West Paces Ferry Road in Buckhead

Traffic was snarled on a major Buckhead thoroughfare much of the day Saturday while crews worked to repair a gas main break.

The ruptured natural gas line was in the 100 block of West Paces Ferry Road between Peachtree Road and East Andrews Drive in northwest Atlanta.

Atlanta police spokeswoman Kim Jones told the AJC officers were on the scene directing traffic.

Police were still working the incident at 4:45 p.m.
