The Kennesaw Dream Foundation’s first annual Dream Dash 5k benefitting the Kennesaw Teen Center is set for Saturday and begins at Kennesaw First Baptist Church.
The Kennesaw Teen Center, an initiative of City Councilman Bill Thrash, is an after-school facility and program for students providing a safe environment for various programs and homework help.
The race rout runs down Main Street over Jiles Road into Swift-Cantrell Park, and ends in downtown Kennesaw at the railroad crossing. Races begin at 7:30 a.m.
