Fulton schools trying to encourage Title I parents

Fulton County Schools will hold a half-day workshop Saturday to encourage parents from the system’s 53 Title I schools to become more involved in their child’s education.

The Parent & Student Expo will be held from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Teaching Museum South, 689 North Ave. Hapeville.

Parents will hear general information about Title I programs, as well as attend workshops on areas like helping their children with tests and the importance of being active in the PTA.
