Fulton public schools' teacher orientation for more than 500 new hires starts Tuesday, July 31

Fulton County School System starts new teacher orientation Tuesday, July 31, for more than 500 new teachers in the system, the state's fourth largest. Teachers will meet key school system administrators, including Superintendent Robert Avossa, and be trained on the new state curriculum, the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards. They'll also pick up their district-issued laptops. School starts August 13.
