13 Fulton judges ready to perform gay marriages

Fulton County is already preparing for a ruling in favor of same-sex marriage.

“We want to make this historic movement as pleasant as possible,” said Fulton County Commission Chairman John Eaves.

Thirteen judges have already agreed to perform same-sex marriages should the U.S. Supreme Court overturn Georgia's ban on same-sex marriage.

The thought is that the county probate court will have a high number of couples coming by on the day of the decision eager to say "I do." The county government wants to ensure that couples have an experience they will treasure.
