Fulton inmate dies Sunday
A 36-year-old inmate at the Fulton County Jail died Sunday.
Jail staff and emergency medical technicians attempted to resuscitate the man, who was later pronounced dead at Grady Memorial Hospital, according to Tracy Flanagan, spokesperson for the Fulton County Sheriff's Office.
The man's name has not yet been released, pending notification of family. However, the man was serving time for several charges including aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children and possession of firearms by a convicted felon, she said.
Flanagan said there are no signs of foul play. The medical examiner's office will perform an autopsy to determine cause of death.
