Atlanta City Councilwoman Carla Smith will dedicate Atlanta's first free Neighborhood Electric Vehicle Charging Station from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Memorial Day, May 28. The event will be held at 512 Kelly St. SE and is open to the public.
Atlanta director of sustainability Denise Quarles and Clean Cities Atlanta executive director Don Francis are scheduled to give remarks. Veterans groups and the EV Club of the South are slated to attend. Atlantans are invited to come learn more about alternative fuel vehicles and charging technologies.
