Forsyth County Parks & Recreation announced that its popular Splash Pad at Old Atlanta Park was to open Friday and remain open through Sept. 7.

Given the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, “the Splash Pad will follow CDC guidelines by limiting the facilities capacity (and) enhancing sanitation and disinfection, and we ask that users practice social distancing from other families,” according to the announcement.

Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday, June 5-Aug. 5 including Independence Day; and 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday through Friday, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 - Sept. 7 including Labor Day.

Daily admission is $2 per person, cash or check only, for those ages one year old and up. Adults entering with a paying child are free as long as they remain on the dry deck. Individual annual passes are $30, and annual family passes, $60.
