A 64-year-old man drowned Sunday afternoon in a private pond in Forsyth County.
The man was identified as Kenneth Williams. He was alone in a boat on the 2-acre Gravitt Road pond, north of Cumming, Capt. Jason Shivers with the Forsyth County fire department told the AJC.
Family members found Williams' boat overturned and called 911 just before 6 p.m., Shivers said. Divers pulled his body from the water around 6:30 p.m.
Williams did not live at the home, but was visiting family, Shivers said.
