The Forsyth County School District announced the promotions of four educators to principals.

Megan Thompson, who taught in Bulloch, Gwinnett and DeKalb counties before coming to Forsyth in 2011, was named principal of Lakeside Middle School. Currently assistant principal at Lakeside, Thompson replaces Kim Head, who is retiring.

Amanda Thrower began her Forsyth teaching career in 2002 as an English teacher at Liberty Middle School and returns to Liberty as principal. She replaces Cheryl Riddle, who is moving to Hendricks Middle School.

Molly Bradley, an assistant principal at West Forsyth High School, was named principal of South Forsyth Middle School. She replaces Sandy Tinsley, who is retiring.

Bob Carnaroli, with 35 years’ experience in Georgia, Indiana and Florida schools, was named principal of North Forsyth High School. Formerly a lead high school counselor and currently assistant principal at Denmark High School, Carnaroli replaces Jeff Cheney, who is moving to East Forsyth High School.
