Flat screen thieves hit three Atlanta businesses

For the second consecutive day, smash-and-grab burglars early Wednesday hit multiple businesses in southwest Atlanta.

This time, the thieves targeted flat screen televisions in a group of medical offices off Camp Creek Parkway, according to police dispatchers.

The burglars smashed the glass front doors of Premier South Medical Group, Children's Dentistry of Camp Creek and Princeton Lakes Pediatrics around 4 a.m. All three offices are in the Camp Creek Medical Center.

Carlos Fuentes, an employee of 24-7 Glass, was at the complex before daybreak replacing the shattered front door of Children's Dentistry. He said it was the fifth time he had been called to the office to replace glass broken by burglars.

Early Tuesday, two southwest Atlanta Foot Locker stores were hit by smash-and-grab burglars.

Atlanta police arrested six suspects a short time later at an apartment complex just south of downtown, and recovered a minivan and boxes of shoes believed to have been taken from the stores.
