A Florida woman vacationing in Georgia got a welcome surprise when stopped by police in Canton earlier this week.

Jodi Crawford-Foster said on Facebook that her GPS routed her the wrong way and the speed limit dropped before she realized it.

Crawford-Foster said as soon as Officer Kiosmary De Jesus pulled her over, Crawford-Foster put her license out the window and turned off her car.

“I think she understood I was just temporarily misplaced and I think she could tell I was a good person,” Crawford-Foster posted on Facebook. “I wasn't flying or doing anything crazy. I think I was like 10 over the speed limit.”

De Jesus didn’t write the Florida woman a ticket, but instead asked her son to roll down his window.

The boy, Gavin, told the officer he wanted to be a SWAT officer when he grows up, so

De Jesus took him to her patrol SUV and let him play with the lights and sirens.

Crawford-Foster said she immediately pulled out her cellphone to record the encounter and her son was speechless and beaming hours later.

"Wow..getting pulled over in GA was certainly different than in Florida ..talk about true Southern Hospitality,” Crawford-Foster said in her post.

The video had been viewed more than 10,000 times by Thursday.

She said the officer did not write her a ticket.
