Fayetteville’s Planning and Zoning Commission has an open seat for a term that begins in March and runs through December. The six-member board meets at 6 p.m. on the fourth Tuesday of each month to “insure that the city’s current, as well as future, quality of life is guided by a community planning process that is anticipatory, comprehensive and equitable.”

Applicants must be city residents and not hold any other public office. Applications include a personal biography and are available at www.fayetteville-ga.gov or from City Clerk Anne Barksdale at 770-719-4159. Submissions are due Feb. 28.
