Music fans are being asked to suggest artists for the 2020 summer concert series at Zac Brown’s Southern Ground Amphitheater in Fayetteville.

The city has opened an online survey where participants can note which genres of music they like, plus choose up to 10 preferred acts from a list ranging from ABBA to The Zombies (with Zac Brown noticeably absent from the choices). Respondents can also write in favorite artists for consideration, although the city notes that “we only hold 1,500 guests,” so stadium acts are pretty much out. The survey also asks for some demographic information, details about past concert attendance, and a rating of the amphitheater, and offers space for general comments or suggestions about the venue.

The link is at www.surveymonkey.com/r/FayettevilleConcerts and is open through Dec. 8; responses are limited to one per person.

Donald Trump's administration deployed the military to Washington, D.C., in the name of fighting crime, and in an Aug. 11 news conference he mentioned the possibility of military being sent to other large American cities, all of which are led by Black, Democratic mayors. And while Atlanta wasn't included in Trump's list, the city fits that profile under Mayor Andre Dickens. (Photo Illustration: Philip Robibero / AJC | Source: Getty)
