Fayette County is expanding its computer animation instruction to all five high schools, following Board of Education approval Monday night of $365,600 for new computers and software. The new computer labs for the Animation and Digital Media program will include industry-level software Storyboard Pro and Harmony, as well as computers for students and teachers, at a cost of approximately $73,000 per school. Installation will begin at Sandy Creek High School first so that teachers can complete a training and certification workshop in June.
