Fayette County voters who want to familiarize themselves with the new Georgia voting machines before the March 24 primary can do so at five upcoming community meetings. The first will be held 6-8 p.m. Feb. 12 at the public meeting room (Suite 100) at the Administrative Complex at 140 Stonewall Ave. West in downtown Fayetteville. Two more will be held Feb. 15, at 10-11:30 a.m. at Liberty Baptist Church, 1077 Ga. 314 in Riverdale, and another 1-3 p.m. at the Fayette County Library, 1821 Heritage Parkway, Fayetteville. A demonstration will also be held 6-8 p.m. on Feb. 20 at North Fayette Elementary School, 609 Kenwood Road in Fayetteville, and a fifth presentation will be 9-10:30 a.m. on March 14 at the IHOP at 705 Jeff Davis Drive in Fayetteville. Updates on any additional events will be posted at www.fayettecountyga.gov.
