A 38-year-old south Fulton County mother was found shot to death in her home, Fairburn police said Tuesday.

Friends found Keena Lishawn Brooks in her Lincoln Street home after telling police they had not heard from her since Saturday, according to Sgt. Anthony Bazydlo with Fairburn police.

Brooks' 1999 dark green Ford Windstar, with Georgia tag BEB7167, was missing from her home. There is a record of at least one previous domestic incident at the home, and investigators believe the slaying was also domestic, Bazydlo said.

Brooks was a 1992 graduate of Booker T. Washington High School in Atlanta.

She worked as a bus driver for Fulton County schools, according to her Facebook profile.
