Extraordinary gym class
Riverside Elementary School takes physical education to new levels of excellence thanks to PE teachers Craig Whitten and Mike Tontillo Wednesday, October 3, 2007. During the 2005-06 school year they both painted the entire 7200 sf gym with imaginative murals that incorporate movement challenges. They include "magical enchanted land" where students climb, swing through trees, rock climb, space walk on the futuristic space station and climb on the moon while learning the planets and constellations.
