Elam Road, Mellville Ave. in DeKalb closed for repairs
Two roads in DeKalb County will be closed for drainpipe and sewer repairs.
DeKalb County officials announced two area street closings for repairs.
Elam Road, between Rowland Road and South Hairston Road, will be closed to through-traffic through 9 p.m. Oct. 19, to replace storm drain pipe.
Mellville Avenue between Bonner Street and Candler Road will be closed to through-traffic beginning at 6:30 a.m., Oct. 16, through 9 p.m. Oct. 17, to install new sanitary sewer manhole and sewer line.
Road closure and detour signs will be placed in the areas to advise motorists of construction work and traffic restrictions.
