Venture capitalists, development experts and academics will meet Friday with Dunwoody leaders, to talk about economic development.

Mayor Ken Wright and councilmembers Dennis Shortal and Danny Ross are hosting the meeting as a kick-off to how the north DeKalb County city can create a strategy to draw new businesses and retain existing firms.

The meeting, at the Ravinia Club, is not open to the public. However, the city plans to hold public forums on the topic later this year.
