At its annual retreat on Thursday, The Dunwoody Sustainability Committee will look at the past year’s progress in conserving energy and reducing the city’s global footprint, called “green building.” The committee will also consider future options to further the sustainability goals, such as providing electric vehicle charging stations on city property, developing energy educational materials for local school and community, and review existing laws in other cities that incentivize green building. The focus is also on the estimated cost of its sustainability measures, including the amount of staff hours needed to operate. The committee will meet at 8 a.m., at Brook Run, 4770 North Peachtree Road, in the barn at greenhouse complex.
