Dunwoody's mayor and city council members will go on their yearly planning retreat Friday.

The retreat will start at 7 a.m. with an hour-long breakfast and then run from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the W Atlanta Perimeter at 111 Perimeter Center West. The public is invited to attend the retreat.

"It's just an opportunity for them to reflect on the past year to look at everything they accomplished," said Edie Damann, a spokeswoman for the city."They'll look at the goals they set for 2010 and create new goals and plans for 2011."
