Duluth sponsors naming contest for dog park

Want to name a park? Here's your chance. The Duluth Parks and Recreation Department is sponsoring a contest to name the dog park at Rogers Bridge Park off Peachtree Industrial Boulevard. The 24-acre Rogers Bridge Park is the newest addition of green space for Duluth. Construction on the three-acre dog park is expected to begin Jan. 1. To submit names for the dog park, contact 770-814-6981. Winner will receive a gift certificate for dog food.
