Three men were beaten, tied up and robbed at gunpoint and a gunfight between two others ensued Friday night in Norcross in what police are describing as a drug deal gone bad.
According to police, four men went to a home on Willow Brook Court in Norcross to buy drugs late Friday. Three of the men went inside to complete the deal. Upon entering the home they were beaten, restrained and robbed by at least one other man who was already at the house.
While this was going on inside, the fourth man got into a fight in the driveway with another man who apparently was supposed to be selling them the drugs. It is not clear which of the men fighting outside pulled a gun or began shooting, but neighbors heard the shots and called police which deployed the SWAT team.
But by the time the SWAT team entered the home, no one was inside.
No one was wounded by gunfire, but one of the men was taken to Gwinnett Medical Center for treatment of a bite to his arm.
Police continued to investigate the incident.
