Deputies in Walton County are calling a reported car crash suspicious because the men in the car were likely dead before a collision.

Sheriff Joe Chapman told Channel 2 Action News the crash was reported between 4 and 5 p.m. on Clegg Farm Road near Social Circle.

Deputies believed the incident was a single-car crash, but evidence quickly showed the men, later identified as Cortez White and Davoddren Harris, had died earlier.

No additional information was immediately available.

Investigators are asking anyone who may have seen anything regarding this incident to please let them know as soon as possible.
