In two days, Azoumana Diarra managed to steal three cars, assault one of the drivers and bring a minor along for the crimes, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office said.

Roughly three weeks later, authorities arrested Diarra after he ran from them outside a Stone Mountain business Monday.

Diarra allegedly hijacked three different vehicles on Aug. 29 and Aug. 30, and assaulted one of the drivers, according to the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office. He then allegedly fled the scene. A minor was present during the crimes.

Investigators eventually discovered Diarra’s whereabouts and arrested him in the area of Memorial Drive and Rays Road.

Diarra, 30 of, Clarkson, was booked in the DeKalb County Jail on charges of aggravated assault, three counts hijacking a motor vehicle and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, according to jail records. Authorities have not said what role, if any, the minor had in the crimes.
