Police arrested a man and a woman on charges they invaded a DeKalb County home and led police on a chase.

DeKalb County officers captured the suspects Thursday morning, police spokesman Officer Jason Gagnon said. Their names were not immediately available.

Police received a call of a reported home invasion in the 4600 block of Big Valley Road near Stone Mountain around 6 p.m. Wednesday. Officers were in the area and arrived as the suspects were fleeing the house, Gagnon said.

The suspects fled, running in different directions. Police chased after them.

During the chase, one of the suspects turned around and made a "threatening gesture" toward the officer, Gagnon said. It appeared he had a weapon, he said.

The officer fired at least one shot toward the suspect, but no one was struck. Officers then lost sight of the suspects.
