DeKalb County Fire Rescue workers raised more than $51,100 for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation during the group’s annual campaign.
Fire Station 1, shift C near the Emory University corridor led donations, raising $3,200 for the charity.
All proceeds support fire safety education and burn survivor programs. DeKalb will receive 10 percent of its collections for those programs in the county.
