The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office says it’s asking for assistance locating a man who is possibly armed and gang-tied in connection with a homicide.

Kaylon Janard "Hooty" Jiles, 20, of Tucker, is charged with felony murder in the death of Eric Fisher on Nov. 6, the sheriff's office said. Fisher, 27, was found face up with multiple gunshot wounds outside a Motel 6 on Chamblee Tucker Road.

Police said Jiles fled in a black sedan and that they quickly got warrants for his arrest.

An argument preceded the shooting, but further details haven’t been released.

The sheriff’s office urged caution for anyone who sees Jiles. Anyone with information can call deputies at 404-298-8402 or Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477).
