Cyclists of all ages are invited to a safety fair in Decatur Saturday in Decatur.

The city’s police and recreation departments are sponsoring the event, which features a chance to register your bike as well as receive a safety check for your bike and helmet. Participants also can ride a safety course designed to help teach hand signals and rules of the road.

The fair is free and runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the upper parking lot of Decatur High School on North McDonough Street.
