Several customers say they are out hundreds of dollars in repairs after buying bad gas from a Decatur station.

Three people who bought gas at the Valero on West Howard Avenue on three different days last week told Channel 2 Action News they ended up with dead cars.

The premium fuel had water in it, investigators found after receiving complaints. The Department of Agriculture shut down premium and mid-grade pumps Monday, Channel 2 said.

The news station said the business is communicating with its supplier to find a solution and has pledged to cover the bills of customers who had issues because of the bad gas.
