Darlene McCoy to help family during holiday

Gospel artist and radio personality Darlene McCoy wants to help one family have a merry  holiday.

McCoy is looking  to help a family by providing a $100 gift card to be spent on food or gifts. "There are so many people who don't have and I want to be able to bless those who don't have" she said in a statement.

To win the donation, individuals can enter the "I Shall Live for the Holidays" contest on her Facebook page and website.  Contestants should submit a 100-word essay on why their family should win at www.DarleneMcCoy.com. The contest ends at midnight on Dec. 23. The winner will be announced Dec. 24.
