Dairy industry gives money to Cobb schools

The Southeast United Dairy Industry Association awarded grants to several Cobb County Schools to promote wellness initiatives that encourage consumption of milk, fruits and vegetables.

The grants range from $1,900 to $4,000 and went to Kincaid Elementary, Labelle Elementary, Lovinggood Middle, McCleskey Middle, Palmer Middle and Pebblebrook High, school system officials announced last week.
