This is a roundup of recent crimes of note in Cobb County. It is based on arrest warrants, police reports and jail records. At this point, these are allegations by law enforcement.
Atlanta man found with lots and lots of drugs
Cobb police recently stopped a man from Atlanta who allegedly had a wide range of drugs.
Cops pulled over the man, who lives by the DeKalb-Peachtree Airport, just after midnight Sunday off Atlanta Road near I-285, according to a police warrant.
Inside his pickup truck, officers found 234 grams of marijuana in multiple plastic bags along with 31 grams of methamphetamine also packaged, the warrant said.
There was also a small bag of cocaine, along with 19 grams of heroin and two scales, cops said.
There were also more than 36 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms.
He was booked into Cobb jail a couple of hours later, according to jail records.
He’s got a ticket to ride, but he don’t care
A Lithia Springs man is accused of masturbating in the back of a Lyft driving through Cobb.
The man allegedly exposed himself while in the back of the car on June 11 about 4 p.m., Cobb police say.
A warrant did not say where the man was coming or going but the incident location is listed as I-20 near the Riverside Parkway exit in Austell.
He faces a public indecency charge.
Teens leave something besides an apple for teacher
Three Marietta teens were arrested for an alleged after-hours prank inside Walton High School.
The trio entered the school about 1 a.m. on June 11, according to a warrant.
They went on to spray-paint a hallway, steal two hoodies from the Walton Spirit Store ,and two of the teens defecated in a classroom, the warrant said.
All three were arrested and have bonded out, jail records show.
