Coweta man, 94, killed while farming

A 94-year-old Coweta County man was killed Tuesday when he was pinned underneath his truck while working on his farm.

Zed Wingo, 94, was pronounced dead at the farm on Palmetto-Tyrone Road, Major James Yarbrough of the Coweta County Sheriff's Office told the Times-Herald of Newnan.

Wingo was doing chores Tuesday morning when his truck began to roll, pinning him underneath, the newspaper said.
