Charges were pending against a 17-year-old involved in a head-on collision in Newton County early Saturday that left a Covington woman dead, authorities said.
The accident occurred at 2:48 a.m. Saturday, the Georgia State Patrol told Channel 2 Action News.
Alison M. Bell, 56, who driving a 2002 Ford Explorer, was struck head-on by a 2003 Ford Ranger driven by McKenzie Farrow Crowe of Oxford, the State Patrol said.
