County issues rabies alert after raccoon tests positive

Gwinnett County authorities have issued a rabies alert after a raccoon that tested positive for the disease was found on Northern Oak Drive in Braselton April 4.

If you or your child have been bitten or scratched by any stray animal or if you know of anyone handling this animal, call the Gwinnett County Animal Welfare and Enforcement Bite Office at 770-339-3200, Ext. 5576.
