The Atlanta City Council voted Monday to pay a woman $325,000 for injuries sustained that she blamed on the city.

The woman, Margie Walker, said she hurt herself stepping through a broken water meter cover. Walker initially sought more than $1 million from the city, according to council records.

The council also voted to add $29,350 to its Meals on Wheels program.
