Atlanta police were searching for a man who allegedly shot his father in the leg during an argument Saturday.
Police were called to the 4000 block of Roswell Road north of I-285 just before 7 a.m. and learned the father and son had been arguing. At some point the son pulled a handgun and shot is father in the right leg, according to police spokesman Officer John Chafee.
The son then fled the scene, Chafee said. The father, 41, was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital. He was alert, breathing and conscious when he was transported, police said.
The names of both father and son were withheld.
