Investigators in Richmond County are searching for a hair thief who arms herself with pepper spray.
The Augusta Chronicle cites an incident report that says a woman entered a beauty supply store, grabbed two packs of human hair and headed for the exit. Two employees tried to stop her, but she sprayed them with pepper spray and then fled in a red SUV.
Police report that both employees had to seek medical attention. The stolen hair was valued at $240.
