Atlanta police are investigating after a resident was killed while walking in on a burglary at an East Atlanta Village apartment complex, according to Channel 2 Action News.

Alexan EAV, located at 1205 Metropolitan Avenue Southeast, is the scene, a police spokesman said Monday afternoon.

There was no immediate word on a suspect, but police released a photo of a man they want to question. The police don't yet know if the man is a suspect or just a passerby.

The complex, where a studio goes for $1,145, bills its units as "stellar." Attempts to reach the complex Monday weren't immediately successful.
