A Cobb County mother is accused of purchasing and injecting heroin with her two minor children in the car.
Kelley Denise Rhodes, 29, of Acworth, was arrested Friday night and charged with heroin possession, a felony, and two misdemeanor charges of reckless conduct and driving on a suspended license, according to her arrest warrant, obtained by The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Rhodes allegedly purchased the heroin in Marietta and admitted to police she had injected it in her 2000 Dodge Durango, the warrant states.
“Said accused did have a small plastic bag in her purse containing a white powder residue believed to be heroin,” the warrant states.
Rhodes remained Wednesday in the Cobb County jail, where she was being held without bond.
